Concert Summary

Few bands that formed in the early 1970s have managed to survive and continue touring to the present day. Little Feat is one of the few that have, in no small part due to their outstanding musicianship and the idiosyncratic songwriting of founding member, Lowell George, which has stood the test of time.

Incredible drums by Richie Hayworth. This was the Feat at their best. Up till 1976 I knew and loved the band just from their records. Watching them playing however added so much. Lowell George's stage personality for one thing. Great playing by all but I just love Richie...

wow, with all the jam band mediocrity we hear these days, you forget what bands like this were doing 30 years ago.

Little Feat was the best band in the world in 1976. I am almost sure I was at this show -- unless I was at their LA show... I didn't know what New Orleans music was back then, only that I loved their groove. Now I can just see the second liners dancing down Rampart Street listening to Ritchie's stone-cold NOLA-shuffle. Damn!

Spectacular, gifted and iconic rock, blues, folk-rock, jazz-rock band. Lowell George's untimely death left a hole in rock music history nobody's been able to fill. Decent concert. All the players are strong and on top of their game. And nothing beats 'em live.

Took me a few years to pick up on the underlying magic of the Bo Diddley beat in this music. ChunkachunkaChunkChunk KaChunkChunk! Let those possessed of wisdom figger it out.

Was blessed to see Little Feat on the Waiting on Columbus tour in Columbus Ohio Vets Aud. Had no idea what they were about but turned me into a fan almost for life. Lost interest after Down on the Farm. However, I agree with the writers that WOC was or is one of the best live albums made. As long as it is played in the same sequence as the live show was played. The Mercernary Territory etc medly is tops, don't here too many bands that can shift so effortlessly into a completely new song without losing the audience or the beat. Lowell George rocks on. And thats all I've got to say about that.
