Concert Summary

1975 was a breakthrough year for Linda Ronstadt. This performance, recorded at Passaic New Jersey's Capital Theater, captures that special moment in time. The 1973 Don't Cry Now album was a significant musical advance and 1974's Heart Like A Wheel would send Ronstadt's career skyrocketing. The single, "You're No Good," would sail right up the singles charts, followed by a series of singles that would…entire summary

Much better performance on recording from the universal, and also better recording. band a bit sloppy here, and has desk distortion on vocals on many of the crescendo's

Wow,Andrew Gold and Peter Asher in her band, werent the eagles backing her up at one point also? I remember when she was a sex symbol dating Cali Gov Brown....nowadays not many are aware that she records albums in spanish and targets her fellow native Mexican immigrants as her audience

This is my favorite version ever sung by anyone! Love the Eagles, but Linda has a delivery that makes you feel like she's really talking to someone in particular.

This WAS a great concert. One of the many times I saw Linda perform. The Capital was a wonderful old place to see concerts, albeit, in a somewhat dicey area. Always a thrill when you came out and your car was there AND intact!
