Concert Summary

Linda Ronstadt had become America's rock 'n' roll sweetheart by the time this show was recorded in early 1975 in Long Island. One of the few female singers of considerable depth and musical substance to come out of the 1970s Southern California music scene, Ronstadt would be wildly popular with both fans and music industry insiders and media for many years after this show was recorded. Was probably there. This was a time when we would see a show a week, and sometimes more.
    Great to hear.
    Thanks

What a treat to find these Linda Ronstadt shows! During high school I would gaze at her beautiful face on "Heart Like A Wheel" & Prisoner In Disguise", and listen to them endlessly. One of the purest voices ever.

Does everyone who covers "I will always love you" develop a love of hard drugs ? In the photo above Linda looks like the "it" girl of the 70's. No wonder she sold tons of vinyl while other superior talented singers languished in obscurity.

"This picture kind of reminds me of a party at Don Henley's house and this guy's doing coke of Linda Ronstadt's ass."

What a voice on Linda. Not just someone who can actually carry a tune, but someone has perfect pitch. She puts the morons on American Idol, and the like, to shame. But I guess that's why we're here on Wolfgang, isn't it?
