    “God Bless the USA” is the absolutely pukiest song ever written or played relentlessly during the seventh inning stretch of baseball games and trotted out everytime the U.S. engages in unwise foreign policy to make everyone think it is okay. I love America but this kind of chauvinistic schmaltz is about as genuine and helpful as a yellow ribbon magnet on the minivan (and I own a minivan).
