Kenny Chesney

Kenny Chesney's appeal reflects the effects of heartfelt ballad blended with radio-friendly honky-tonk country. Chesney made his debut in 1994 with Capricorn Records in 1994 on a self-titled collection that established him as a competent songwriter, albeit chasing standout quality. Both All I Need To Know and Me And You, his next two albums released in the mid-90s, revealed a growing artist, and the title track of Me... performed well on country radio. Chesney accompanied the release with a major nationwide tour in support of country rock veterans Alabama, and since then his fan base has continued to grow. George Jones and Tracy Lawrence joined Chesney on "From Hillbilly Heaven To Honky Tonk Hell," the hit track from 1997's I Will Stand. The follow-up, Everywhere We Go, was another hit album with the straightforward track, "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy."
