Although no formal announcement had been made, by this time Yes was falling apart. Anderson had departed in 1979, and was replaced on 1980's Drama album by Trevor Horn. He would return with a bastardized version of the band in 1983, led by Chris Squire, for the album 90125, and again with another off-shoot called Anderson, Bruford, Howe and Wakeman in 1989. For this tour in 1982, though, Anderson decided to front his own band and focus on his more…entire summary

David Sancious is so freakin amazing. I play a couple of his old Tone tunes in my band. "Piktor's Metamorphosis," and "Wake Up to a Brand New Day," from his unreleased "Dance of the Age of Enlightenment." David, if you're reading, What happened to Boom and to Gerry? Put TONE back together and use your analog instruments. Tone has never been bigger!!! Then come to North Carolina and PLAY and DISPLAY your Heart my man!!

I'm pretty sure I was at this show(will check the stub later) - Got there early for the show and was able to hear Jon rehearsing on the side of the theater which is on a pier. Somebody opened a door and went out and we were able to sneak in. Jon saw us because the Sunlight shone in on him and of course he said please come in its ok just please close the door. It was a great show - fantastic set list! Jon just played in Florida on 6/6. So he's getting better!

Some very good news. After his near fatal respiratory ailment last year, Jon has announced a few solo accoustic concerts this summer. This master singer performs again. If the person who wrote the notes for this show for the Vault thought 90215 was a bastard version of yes what does he think of the version ou on tour with Asia this summer? Can you say Spinal Tap?

I've been living outside of America so long that I had no idea this existed... What a disgrace! I've certainly missed a lot. I've always loved Yes and particularly Jon's singularly unique vocal interpretations. His solo work is and always has been astonishing and this is a pure gem!

Hearing this was a real treat for me. I had tickets for this show in Boston a few days earlier (still have the tickets, actually) but could not get in because my date was underage and for whatever reason they were strictly enforcing the age limit that night. The thought of asking her to wait in the car crossed my mind, but in the end I did the right thing and left with her. Now I can at least hear what I missed that warm summer night in Boston.
