    now one can touch Johnny in those days he would of blown every one off the stage. Brought a lot of enjoyment to his fans. A true legend of rock and blues guitar. Some of his smooth guitar riffs were so unique. Only a few like him Jimi, Rory , Eric.

    I think I've said afew times before,I met Edgar in O.C.,MD. in 1992.In 1 of the vault's summaries of Edgar{i believe}y'all spoke of an almost competative era between the 2 bros.Also, Rick D. was all over the place w/ Johnny,Edgar,solo& uh,The McKoy's{?}"hang on Sloopy" at 15 yrs. old!!I had "Progressive Blues Experiment" when I wqas 12 or 13&just TRYING to play @ 14 I saw J.W. w/ Foghat in MD.At the time my friends&I had "bAnD"{sorta}& we spent hrs. playing Tobacco RD.,Jumpin' Jack Flash,Still alive& Well& thought Edgar's White Trash Live Album{R.Montrose,R.Derringer,Jerry LaCroix&"guest'gtr.Bro J.W.}was THE ONLY ALBUM TO BE PLAYED AT ALL TIMES>>>PERIOD!J.W.'s"rock'n'roll hootchie coo" is way better than Rick's more"pop" version.But R.D. is consumate musician,songwriter&guitarist/Producer too!They broke the mold soon after didn't they?'scuse me I got the vapor's or I need a bong hit Go JohnnyGo!!-GTRZAN ;.}

    Bands today do too much BS, and gimmicks in the studio. Back in the 70's, it was in your face Rock n Blues. Main reason is that artists really could play. Today, they rely too much on machines, and not talent. Rock On Johnny!

    Clapton was smart to have Johnny at his last Guitar Festival. Cool to see young guys like Derek Trucks trying to learn something from him.
