Concert Summary

Joe Walsh had been out of The James Gang less than two years when this show was recorded for the King Biscuit Flower Hour radio concert series (which was in its debut year of broadcasting). Walsh still relied on much of the material he had written for The James Gang that had established him on FM radio. He does, however, offer a good dose of material from his first solo album, Barnstorm, and The Smoker Youentire summary

There's a lot of freedom in this recording...Love the Guys' style, tasteful & warm. While we are on the subject love the track 'Country Fair' - it will settle down the most turbulent of Days.

Klenheins Music Hall , Buffalo late 73 , 1st of many times I saw JW. and was one of the best concerts I've seen. Only time when I've seen the drummer on the front of the stage. Joe Walsh and Joe Vitale side by side. Was hard to watch both as they were both crankin. Note after 2 encores and the place emptied and only about 100 of us hard core fans left. They decided to come back on stage for some more. Caught an tambourne from JV. Remember it often and my friends who were there with me.

Although the drums sound a little to up front and the vocals could be louder, this is quite the treasure. Saw this group a couple of times at Winterland and will always remember what a good show it was.
