The lineup of Musician's on this show was members of Stuff Gale, Tee, Edwards, Dupree, Gadd { on some session i think they { Stuff } used Bernard Purdie on Drums } & we all know that Eric Gale was house musician for Creed Taylor's CTI KUDU label{ Think Grover's Mr. Magic } Joe picked some great ones for this gig.

Any chance of getting another version of Mad Dogs and Englishman? For my money that's Cocker's best.

Sheffield Steel was indeed a mighty album - but the album with stuff was of course Stingray. With regard to Sheffield Steel - now that would have been an experience - Joe with Sly and Robbie - but I don't think that ever happened.

100% with you Ranger. Every opportunity I get, now spanning nearly 40 years I go and see the unique talent that is JC. As I noted elsewhere this line up never made it over to Europe, which was tragic for me, as Sheffield Steel was a mighty record. I am eternally grateful to WV.
