Jerry Reed was one of the best guitarists in country music. Better known for his own hit recordings and movie stardom as Burt Reynold's sidekick, Reed was a session guitarist who played for Elvis, Bobby Bare, Waylon Jennings, Ringo Starr, Joan Baez, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton,Connie Smith, and many others.

The man was and is an outstanding Guitarist,I JUST REALIZED HE WAS GONE what happened?? Waylon Jennings once said of Jerry Reed if I could play guitar like Jerry Reed I would never try to sing again.

Jerry Reed was a real talent. I was just recently introduced to his music. I'd heard a few over the years, but never realized just how great he really was. I'm glad these our here for our listening pleasure since I never got to see him in concert. RIP, Snowman!
