I used to live within stumbling dstance of a small night club in this funky little California beach town. Jerry used to bring his band in there during the Dead hiatus, 1975ish. Epic Shows. They played until aafter 3 am one night. All the waitreses came around to pick up the drinks and the band just grooved on. Ron Tutt...can that dude swing or what?

I would really love to get my hands on the 11-01-75 shown at the Capitol Theatre. I had the tape in college but some d$%k stole it along with all the others. Had a smokin' Mystery Train as well as Harder They Come. Maria cranked on background vocals too, a nice touch. Personally I think the Silver Bullet Live version of Let it Rock is much better, but hey, who am I to say?
