This is the show that was filmed for the "Jefferson Starship - the Definitive Concert" dvd, the only difference is that the dvd runs 1hr and doesn't have the tunes 'I Came Back From The Jaws Of The Dragon' and 'Can't Find Love' on it, BUT it does have 'Stairway To Cleveland' which is conspicuously missing here.

Wow, now just listenin to this concert, it seems like it may be the same recording of the video that they put out on DVD

This was when Grace Slick had been out of rehab for a year or two and had got her act cleaned up. She was now at her best. Also, a young Craig Chaquico, a guitarist who is still puttin out great tunes today. I consider Winds of Change to be one of the Starships greatest since Red Octupus. I am looking forward to listening to this concert, as I have many recordings from this very tour.

Saw this tour in NYC and at that time Grace Slick was at her peak and the best female rocker on the planet and the band was outstanding. Craig was outrageous, actually if you can believe it he was even better than Jorma and they were smoking.

Jefferson Starship is still rocking and still playing that great 60's and 70's Airplane and Jefferson Starship music along with their other great tunes. If you love the music, you owe it to yourself to see them. It is almost always the best show of the year for me when I get to see them. Cathy Richardson joined them last year singing the Grace Slick parts and she is just amazing. I will be seeing them next week in MI and I can't wait !!
