Concert Summary

The man born as James Osterberg has been putting out records for over 30 years - first with The Stooges, and then as a solo artist. He's released masterpieces (Fun House) and pieces of well, you know (Zombie Birdhouse anyone?).

Great concert at time when IGGY embraced his more commercial collaberations.
Intresting to hear IGGY do an impression of Bowies version of China Girl rather than his fantastic (but less pop) orinal.

Blah3 was overproduced but, come on... "Winners & Losers" is one of Iggy's best!

Iggy....one of the few artists that can be identified by his 1st name only. Like many, appreciated more now than at the time. Some would say the Patriarch of Punk. Saw him at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit City in all his Bloody Glory. He can still kick out the jams!!!

The first time I saw Iggy was in South Florida at a club that is now a strip club. I Wonder if Iggy ever shows up for a look, Now that he resides in Miami. George D.,South Florida

I really enoyed this concert sound track. One of the better Iggy Pop Live I've heard. Think I will purchase MP3 track. Saw him in 1979-80 and would like to see him again now. George D.,South Florida

super charged, high energy, balls out live iggy - not my favorite tour, because I wasn't a big fan of Blah, Blah, Blah - but it all makes sense when iggy kicks out the jams!!

For some unknown cause, "Some Weird Sin" has been playing in my head the last few days. A great song from perhaps Iggy's best LP, "Lust For Life." If this is the type of thing you were listening to in you formative years, then here you are......
