Concert Summary

One might expect 1973-era Hot Tuna performing at a Legal Aid Benefit for the Hell's Angels to be a hard rockin' affair, but it turns out just the opposite was true. All the elements that make up their unique musical chemistry are on full display, and to some degree, more…entire summary

its hard to believe only two guys are on stage, some songs it sounds like 4 or 5. These guys were true high end musicians. On the level of few. Jack and jorma are like one/Love it makes life better thanks Hot Tuna bring back Bob Steeler for a tour. Jorma unpack your old guitars and pedals and amps from 75-76 and give your fans a thrill again.
The thoughts of most Tuna fans this is what we want. One tour please do it. The music of the 1975-76 period was never done again. To bad tuna broke up in 1978. One of the greatest bands of the modern rock age.

There was a drum kit set-up at the show - but no drummer showed up. A sublime absence. Beautiful electric beauty until 2 am.

real treat since in 73 tuna had abandoned acoustic in favr of electric/acid/heavy metal which made u long for the acoustic sound for its fingerpicking cleanliness--hear it is
