Concert Summary

This set by Hot Tuna, which they played as openers for the Grateful Dead on New Years Eve, before a hometown crowd, features the band right between the release of first and second albums. Gonna see see Jorma with Dave Bromberg on the 1/27/10 in State College Pa. 33rd time seeing Jorma in many different line ups, from playing with Papa John to his punk phase with White Gland and Hidden Klitz!
If you don't know Jorma, you don't know Jack!!! Love you Guys!!!

I was too young back then (and not close to California) to have seen them, only have seen Hot Tuna and Jorma Kaukonen solo in recent decades. Still, this is really impressive.

So, Did Hot Tuna play 'Feel So Good' before it was released by JA back in '72? WOW, never heard it play 2 years earlier than its release! I saw JA play W&M Hall back in 07/72 and that WAS MY FIRST CONCERT! got me hooked on everything Jack, Jorma, Grace, etc..JA, HT, etc.......let it rock!

If my fading memory serves, I was at this concert. Saw HT at many venues, particularly Fillmore West and Winterland. My friends kidded me a lot at the time, but I stood my ground that HT was amoung the greats. Still have "Electric Hot Tuna" on vinyl. Gotta look into getting in on a CD.
