    if there was ever anything that compared to this band, then i never heard them. Hot Tuna was an original. Also it should be noted that while so many bands bickered amongst themselves over who gets to be out front, this band managed to spring to and fro, with versatility and complete creativity. Jefferson Airplane, Papa John, with or without Grace, Starship, it was always good.

    Jorma and Jack have for years been the most overlooked and under rated players in the business. I wish I had a dime for every grin I gotten from them over the years at the Fillmore and elsewhere. 40 years along our journey now and they still get me off! From the JA to Hot F**kin Tuna, these guys rule!

    Saw Hot Tuna many many times on both coasts. Besides the Dead they were the most sought after show as far as my life was concerned. Going into a Tuna show was like going into a big game, you had to pace yourself as you knew it was going to be a long and tough night.
