My memories are the same as anonymous, late shows always 5-6 hour shows walking out of the Academy 's seedy hall at 4-6 am, no matter it was my favorite venue every weekend. Tuna would play the whole time too no breaks! Drinking Hienekens and smoking joints along the way!

    Thanks
Now if I only could find a Weber's breakfast roll to eat after the show like the old days.

@ Anonymous: You're right on. This one of the best Hot Tuna shows i've ever heard. Steeler's drums are on fire, smokin version of Hit Single #1, even though Jorma couldn't remember the words, still smokin. I was at Jorma's bd show last year at the Beacon. I realize Hot Tuna may not be the most popular rock and roll band and may have not sold as many records as other bands, but in my book for their longevity, musicianship and just the love of playing.. I think you could say they are the best ever.

I too remember many a LSD hungover morning, shuffling out of the Academy of Music/Palladium at 430 in the morning. Funny,I don't have family picnics in my memory file. Just cross country travels and LSD enhanced sunrises after these and other(read(Grateful Dead) shows. Ahhhh....

One of the best Hot Tuna concerts I've ever heard. Everything is perfect - the mix, band chemistry... Jack's sound is just unbelievable, talk about hi-fi modern sound, not to mention it was recorded in 1974...

I was at this show too--both shows, in fact--and it was incredible! Does anyone know or have the rest of this show?
