Concert Summary

To say that sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson were a little anxious to return with their band Heart to their adopted city of Seattle, Washington, at the conclusion of the Dog and Butterfly Tour is a bit of an understatement, to say the least. Heart, which had always been spearheaded by the two sisters since they began writing and recording original material, began as oddity in the music industry. Prior to 1975, it had been primarily a man's world in the music industry, and the band not only featured two women as its leaders…entire summary

Met Nancy in 73 in her Dads English Class at Ringdall Jr. High Always saw them moving to what we on th East side[Seattle] knew! Then in 1976 "Dreamboat Annie" Came out. Their Dad was sooo proud, we had had a "creative writing" class that just on those "cake cutter" school players would playe it over and over. THEN, what changed my life! Lst day of 9th grade Rindgdall 1976 and Aaa-n0Nan and Roger show up. Drummeres no prob, Bass players, Twas the only! We finally played (pre cell phone times, in fornt of a burgeoning in the fields past the gym audience) and that same evening I saw Paul McCartney in th e Dome on "Wings over America tour". Thanks girls, I'm doing VERY well!!! YOU ROCK!!!

Michael Derossier....Period! He is the only drummer that makes Heart sound like Heart! He is what is missing from the Heart of today. He is THE most under-rated drummer I know of. The John Bonham of heavy popular music. Listen to "Cook With Fire" and try not to hear Derossier playing with Led Zeppelin? Anyway....just awesome stuff!

Unbelievable concert. No explanation necessary as to why they are in the Hall of Fame. The mid to late 70's was an explosive time in music with the likes of Van Halen, AC/DC, Aerosmith. Heart is right there with the boys... To have seen this show back in the day...at home...unreal.
