Presented here is the complete unedited performance of Grover Washington, Jr. recorded live before a most enthusiastic hometown crowd at Philadelphia's Schubert Theater in 1981. Accompanied by an all-star band of fusion studio vets.

With an emphasis on material from his extremely popular Winelight album and unveiling new material destined for his Come Morning album later that year, Washington is captured near the peak of his powers here.

Highlights include stirring renditions of Bill Withers' "Just The Two Of Us" featuring Zack Sanders guesting on lead vocals, an original spin on Bob Marley's "Jammin," and to close the set, a highly improvised performance of his signature composition"Mr. Magic."
