150,000 Rise for the Dead (headline from RS article on the show). Was a 20 yr old attending with my girl friend with whom I'm celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary tomorrow, and given that 'our song' is They Love Each Other, this show is the top of the top, and that version of TLEO is a grateful memory.

went to this show,camped out,climbed over the trailors to get in,one of the best shows i ever saw,dick latvala agreed,other than woodstock,it was the biggest crowd the dead ever played for.i remember a girl was having a baby shortly after the dead started to play

Yes they have an equipment problem-as usual-in Promissed but by TMNS they are the best band in the world-that was the nature of the beast! pretty good version of Peggy-O too!

OBVIOUSLY BUDDHASBELLY IS NOT SCHOOLED ON THIS SHOW.TO SAY ''PICK UP SPEED''IS A DRASTIC UNDER STATEMENT.I REALLY DO NOT GET HIS WORST PROMISED LAND EVER.THE HE'S GONE >NOT FADE AWAY >TRUCKIN IS OFF THE HOOK TO SAY THE LEAST.

I can't believe how terrible this sounds! That has to be the worst Promised Land I have ever heard. They must have gotten completely obliterated before taken the stage. Hopefully this show picks up steam as it goes along.
