My group followed Graham, EW&Fire and Parliament around the D.C.area back in'74. They told me GCS opened for Herbie Hancock and turned it out! Then Herbie did Chameleon and buried his head into the rhodes soloing because he did not realize in dance and funk music you gotta have a show! Later Herbie got a laser light show and a portable keyboard and started shakin' his ashtray. We did a set of GCS and I saw them in a park with the Staple Singers when the double bump was out, it was like my sister's sanctified church!
