Great show. Thank you very much. I have the 2 CD set Live In Paris, it is a different show then this one. Does anyone know if these two recordings are from and early show and a late show? Hey Wolfgangsvault, any chance this show will be available for download, someday? Thank you very much for the awesome music you share.

I'm always eager to hear what ever could have lured Mike Shrieve into new directions after having been such a powerhouse element in Santana. The only live stuff I really recall from him is his solo in the Woodstock movie, which really brought down the meadow (if you can say that). Here, the whole ensemble is great but when I listen to Mike (by 1976, well into his 20s) I'm really impressed. He may not have a jazz heart (or, maybe he does), but he's a sublime musician.

I have the two Go studio albums and the exceptionally rare double LP live set. All of 'em are the original vinyl records, btw. Plus, I have a 1971 Stomu Yamashta album that was his US debut release. All are fantastic, especially Go 2.

@ffej -- the bass player is Jerome Rimson (not Kimson). Listen to the band introductions at the end Winner/Loser. See also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Go_Live_From_Paris and http://www.philbrodieband.com/muso_jerome-rimson.htm

One of the most amazing moments in music. Just a flash in the sky of talent together. Never could get enough of this album.

It was so refreshing to have Go rise out of the disco

era. No slam, people love to dance aka rap. This international

assemblage answered all the questions about where was music heading.

Grand music is being made everyday. The journey evolves and moves

sometimes not obviously but eternally for those with open ears.

Enjoy these wonderful muscians and search the path creativity follows.

You can buy the "complete go sessions" at Amazon Market Place for around 25$. It includes the Paris concert and the two studio records. Excellent package!

This is about half the show. Awesome DiMeola solo on "Crossing The Line". I had the 2 record set back in the '70s and was lucky to find a pretty expensive Spanish import CD recently. Absolutely one of the greats!! Stomu Yamashata - Percussion / Piano Steve Winwood - Vocals / Keyboards Michael Shrieve - Drum Kit Klaus Shulze - Synthesisers / Space Machine Al DiMeola - Solo Guitar Jerome Kimson - Bass Pat Thrall - Guitar Brother James - Congos Karen Freidman - Vocals Recorded at the Palais Des Sports, Paris
