Who has the master tape of Genesis in Barcelona Spain 1981 when Genesis performed Me And Virgil, please contact someone at genesis-movement. We need to get that tape digitized PROPERLY.

My first concert was in 1981, this tour for Genesis at the Rosemont Horizon with my dad. Duke is still my favorite recording of all time.

I saw them the next night at the Savoy in NYC, and the sound in that room was the best I've ever heard. I'd seen them open with Deep in the Motherlode on the prior tour at MSG, and that was the greatest opening song, that is until they opened at the Savoy with Behind the Lines. Now that's a show opener! But then, they've always had a flair for that, exhibit A back in the day - Watcher of the Skies!

And many thanks to the great Robert Moog and his amazing Moog Taurus Bass Pedals
that help gave Genesis ( and many others) it's heavy atomic sound..!
