Frumious Bandersnatch

If any one group can legitimately qualify as the "great lost psychedelic band," it's Frumious Bandersnatch. The few tantalizing glimpses of the Bay Area combo afforded by their one three-song EP from the sixties created an impressive local reputation. The subsequent fortunes of its members in groups such as Journey and the Steve Miller Band only added to the band's mystique. The group's name is derived from Lewis Carroll's story "Jabberwocky" and transmits an indisputable psychedelic quality.
