Looks to me like Capricorn Recorda was trying to make another Dickey Betts out of Johnny V.

"calling all cows" is a clavinet feast. This version sounds likf one of the earliest of this tunes. The studio version is great too, with that great clavinet break missing right here. Check out the huge live version(Live! Raisin'Hell) of this tune with a massive horns section burying the The Clav a bit but still worth the trip. (Much better than the sax versions any way) Great groove and footage thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a really good time song. I think that when I had the opportunity to see Elvin perform this song live he made it a bit heavier.
