Concert Summary

This is an important concert because it reunites Elton John with arguably the best band he ever worked with: Davey Johnstone on guitar; Dee Murray on bass and vocals; and Nigel Olsson on drums and vocals. Would disagree with the "Concert Summary" that this was Elton's "last great tour" - but this and his 1984 tour were definitely special as Elton was reunited with Davey, Dee and Nigel (for what would be the last time). Saw Elton (with Davey and Nigel) last year and it was a special concert, to say the least. RIP Dee.

I definitely want to see Elton live sometime. This is an amazing concert though, really showcases a moment in time for him. Can I have a vote? How many people would also want Elton John to collaborate with Paul McCartney on a song or a CD?

around the same time he played in Central Park for almost 400,000 people ending the show in that ridiculous but hilarious Donald Duck outfit what a fucking show!!!

Holy hell this is the fastest Elton's played without sounding terrible! This concert is one hell of a rocker! Besides replaying Saturday Night over and over, he hasn't written a good rock song in ages!

Saw this tour in Little Rock AR. One of the best concerts I have ever seen. These four original members and that percussionist fella were amazing.
