Dwight still plays regularly across the country. No fiddle, but a nice pedal steel and upright bass round out his traditional sounds. Saw him last week in Oklahoma, going to another show in Louisiana next month. Check the website for tour dates. Dont miss out!

Bill Monroe's "writing" credits are a bit misleading. Like many of his songs, Rock Road Blues was written by someone else but recorded 1st by him. Monroe was a business man so when he recorded songs written by unknown musicians, he took credit for writing so he could collect the royalties. He was a great band leader, but it's a little unclear what songs he actually wrote. Oh, the concert is a good one, including DY's version of "Rocky Road Blues" (1st recorded by bluegrass legend, Bill Monroe).
