Poster Art Q & A

Description

New Year's 1998 at the Kaiser Auditorium was a reunion of sorts: former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir and Mickey Hart were there with their post-Garcia bands, and Hot Tuna and String Cheese Incident were together again. Artist Michael Everett had drawn his first Dead poster in 1995 and continued to design for the Dead organization and events [Further Festival]. 'A Cryptical Development' was a Dead reference which was later used by artist Jeff Miller in his poster work.

Wolfgang's Vault owns one of the world's largest collections of original concert posters, featuring hundreds of rock posters, political posters, sports posters, comedy posters and others that were previously unavailable to the general public. Virtually all of our concert posters are in mint condition, and many are signed by the headline performer or the graphic artist.
