Description

Primus was a frequent New Year's Eve performer at Bill Graham concerts during the early and mid '90s. House of Pain, a one-hit ("Jump Around") hip-hop band with vaguely Irish roots, was dogged by a well-deserved reputation for trouble on their 1993 tour. Jazz guitarist Charlie Hunter added another dimension to the concert with his trio of seven-string guitar, drums and saxophone.

Laminates, a later form of backstage access, are business card-sized passes worn around the neck usually indicating a higher rank than patches worn on lower portions of the body. The Vault collection includes many hard to find band, promoter, and stage crew examples and includes those "laminated" by the production company for the show staff and the "un-laminated" pieces that were never encased in plastic.
