Poster Art Q & A

Description

Phil and Jill Lesh formed The Unbroken Chain Foundation in 1997 to keep grant money rolling in for educational, environmental, or young musician development programs that the late Jerry Garcia's Rex Foundation had so successfully supported. Lesh counted many performers, from rock-era Grateful Dead members to Branford Marsalis, among his friends, making these benefit concerts a treat for fans of all ages. David Fremont, the popular and oft-commissioned poster artist, provided his signature, cartoon-style artwork.

Wolfgang's Vault owns one of the world's largest collections of original concert posters, featuring hundreds of rock posters, political posters, sports posters, comedy posters and others that were previously unavailable to the general public. Virtually all of our concert posters are in mint condition, and many are signed by the headline performer or the graphic artist.
