Description

The earthquake that struck San Francisco during the 1989 World Series inspired benefit events across the country for 'quake victims. This concert, held south of Santa Cruz in Watsonville, was a television/radio telethon and featured some very popular performers including Santana, Los Lobos and The Neville Brothers. The theme of the benefit, 'It's Everybody's Fault,' stressed the universality of relief efforts.

Laminates, a later form of backstage access, are business card-sized passes worn around the neck usually indicating a higher rank than patches worn on lower portions of the body. The Vault collection includes many hard to find band, promoter, and stage crew examples and includes those "laminated" by the production company for the show staff and the "un-laminated" pieces that were never encased in plastic.
