Don Henley flew high as a member if the Eagles, showcasing his talents as a singer, songwriter and drummer. After the Eagles' breakup in 1982, Henley caused global shock with his highly successful solo career. Hits like "Dirty Laundry" and "Boys of Summer" brought the artist fame throughout the '80s, and he had a massive album on his hands in '89 with The End of the Innocence. Innocence stayed on pop charts for three years running and launched a string of Henley classics including "New York Minute" and "Heart of the Matter." A reunion with the Eagles in '94 resulted in an MTV Unplugged performance that was quickly produced as a live album titled Hell Freezes Over. The album was a major success for the Eagles and gave a whole new generation new/old-guys-gone-grey to love. Following the success of Hell Freezes Over, the Eagles went their separate ways again, and Henley released his fourth solo album in 2000.
