Ozzy may be the Prince of Darkness, but Ronnie James Dio is the Elfin King of Evil!

He certainly didn't disappoint with Holy Diver, the first album from the band that could only be known as DIO. Like fellow black magicians Ozzy Osbourne and …entire summary

On the other hand, his first bands was called Elf, so I doubt he minds too much. Awesome performer.

take the headline off, calling him an elf is a INSULT! he is one of the most talented vocalist ever. this is a good site, but who would write some stoopid stuff like that? cant wait till i get the new heaven & hell, rite after the black label hits. L8

awesome to hear some quality dio rock. even more awesome to hear his 'covers' of heaven and hell and the mob rules - the crowning glory of his years with sabbath. love it

Very cool to hear "One Night in the City". It wasn't on the Special from the Spectrum VHS release for some reason. Just heard the first release from the the new Heaven & Hell (I will always call them Black Sabbath, as the Dio, Iommi, Butler Appice line-up was by ar the best version of the Sabbs)...Ronnie still sounds amazing...Dio is MAGIC! BTW..I am sick of hearing about his height...what possible difference can that possibly make? I mean "the Elfin King of Evil"??? What a stupid thing to put in an artist bio/review If you can't do any better than that, just shut-up!

  • stanhope | Saturday, March 28, 2009 | 7:12 am

Dio,an articulate class A entertainer who sincerely appreciates his audience and doesn't rely on F-Bombs to be "cool".Pound for pound no one can touch him,5 foot dynamite!!!

No matter how many times I hear this man sing,I am always in total awe !!! I wish for 1/2 of his talent. I have seen Dio in the late 70's right up until today. CLASSIC....just pure CLASSIC !!!! Barry http://www.thewholigans.com/
