Influenced by country and the blues, roots-rockers Delaney and Bonnie were a husband-and-wife team of the late 1960s and early '70s. The musically inclined couple met at a bowling alley in Los Angeles and married within a week. Best known for their "gazing into each other's eyes" performances, the duo often collaborated with other musicians. On-stage "friends" of Delaney and Bonnie included Leon Russel, Eric Clapton, Gram Parsons, Carl Radle, Bobbie Whitlock, Rita Coolidge, Duane Allman, Jesse Ed Davis and Dave Mason.
