Concert Summary

Recorded during the second half of his ambitious two-hour-plus Serious Moonlight tour, captured on the second of two nights at Montreal's Forum, this power set flows like a David Bowie Greatest Hits album. Featuring one of the best bands Bowie ever assembled for a tour (the horn section is from Tower of Power; drummer Tony Thompson was in both Chic and Power Station; and Earl Slick was Bowie's Diamond Dogs-era axeman), it is simply one killer Bowie…entire summary

Great concert! I've never been disappointed with Bowie. This show was exceptional!

Went to see him about 5 years ago in Miami. Unfortunately all we saw was the warmup. During the change one of the roadies fell from a scaffolding and died onstage. Bowie cancelled, no makeup. Always wanted to see him. Glad I found this recording! He's one of the greats.

Great band, recorded very well. Strange that Americans see the Let's Dance LP as one of Bowie's best, and the preceding trio as "strange, uneven". In the UK, the Berlin trilogy are regarded as amongst the best rock albums ever made. Let's Dance we see as a commercial sell-out with only a couple of good tracks.
