    Hey dmdsmc73, I was their right in front of the stage 17 years old and I thought it was the best show ever. That was the 7th or 8th show that I ever saw and to this day it was the best.     I was at Roosevelt stadium when they announced Nixon had just resigned, but I remember them saying "but we will need to Carry On"...and went right into it..Yeah, I also remember the crowd going wild...What a night, awesome concert too...now we need someone else who was there to comment.

    No, Nixon resigned in August; Gerald Ford pardoned him the day of this concert. My sister and I were there and just missed making the Daily News Photo of someone toking some weed. If the photo were 2 feet further back, Dad would have seen his kids getting high. The concert was great aside from CSN&Y; really dug Tom Scott and the LA Express by themselves and with Joni. Oh, yeah---Evel Knievel did his infamous Snake River Canyon jump that day, too.
