After his outstanding session last winter, hardcore troubadour Chuck Ragan returned to offer an exclusive performance of his entire new album, Covering Ground, within the resonant brick and pine confines of the Vault. With long-time bandmates Jon Gaunt and Joe Ginsberg by his side on fiddle and upright bass respectively, Chuck once again delivers a group of songs both poignant and potent.
Of his latest release, Chuck says: "Covering Ground is a collection of songs written on or about the road. They reflect not only what I've lived, worked, and sacrificed for a life in music, but also every step and path I've taken along the way. I've done this for the majority of my life and it is what has made me who I am today. I'm honored and privileged to have been asked to share this record live in its entirety with Wolfgang's Vault and to have that moment chiseled within their walls. Much respect."
