1988 marked the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. In an effort to raise world consciousness about human rights and of the plight of political prisoners worldwide, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Peter Gabriel, Youssou N'Dour, and Tracy Chapman, embarked on the Amnesty International Human Rights Now! Sorry, let me ammend the list of lead vox I just listed below.
I just saw the video on youtube & the lead vox go like this:

    1. Bruce Springsteen
    2. Tracy Chapman
    3. Sting
    4. Peter Gabriel
    5. Youssou N'Dour
    6. Sting & Peter Gabriel
    7. Bruce Springsteen
    8. Bruce, Tracy, Sting, Peter & Youssou

lead vox order for "Get Up Stand Up"(all sing chorus):
    1. Sting
    2. Peter Gabriel
    3. Tracy Chapman
    4. Bruce Springsteen
    5. Youssou N'Dour
    6. Youssou N'Dour again(leading chant w/ crowd)
    7. Charly Garcia
    8. Sting(shouting for crowd to sing it louder in Spanish)

Here's the link if you want to watch it:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPKUh3k4uso

Also, "Get Up Stand Up" seems to be the very last thing they played, not the first of the whole day, as
that is the way is is listed on Bruce's Killng floor setlist site:
    http://www.brucespringsteen.it/Showdx.htm

& also that way in the video with no break or skip between Chimes & Get up. Furthermore, it is dark
out while they play Get Up, leading one to believe that it was not played to start the day. Of course,
maybe the video I was watching was NOT from this particular concert, but it seems so.

Bruce, there is a difference between casados and cansados, just FYI. What an amazing concert. The energy is through the roof. The Boss is, well, the boss.
