Yeah, Boz is definitely an original. Even then he was very professional with a great ear, soulful voice and a tight band. Great stuff! I surely miss those days when life was simple.

The Fillmore movie was finally released on DVD , yesterday . I've had a VH-1 copy for years that was heavily edited . So I bought the Rhino DVD and the Boz Scaggs phone call with Bill and Boz playing "I'll Be Long Gone" is removed from this version . WHY? It's an important part of the film , the song is great and it is in the VH-1 version . I saw the film in the theatres back in 72 and it was in the original . If anyone knows why , would they please respond to this post . Thanx , David .

When you hear music like this, it makes you fell like you could fall in love all over again. Boz was and is so incredible. Listening to this concert made my heart skip a beat, and brought a tear to my eyes. I am so glad to hear it like it just happened yesterday.

I remember back when Boz was a memeber of the Steve Miller Blues Band he would come to Dallas and spend time with me a drummer who was in Steve Miller's brothers band, well dressed guy very classey and filled with rhythem in his blood, wish I knew then what I know now. He turned out to be quite successful.Peter

Thank you for this great Box Scaggs concert. I first saw him at Berkeley Community Theater in 1972. Unlike some of the artists of the time, Boz put on a truly quality show and had the audience experience in mind. He stills puts on a great show having seen him in 2007 at Mountain Winery.
