I believe the concert was actually held at the old Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco. Booker T. (With Albert King joining him) B.B. King and the Mothers of Invention performed that night and they were all excellent, especially B.B. King. It was the first time I'd seen Albert and he's quite a sight onstage that's for sure! Slightly smaller than a gorilla and obviously feeling no pain, he walked onstage and declared that "A Little wine never hurt nobody!" B. B. was really on his game that night and I recall his chilling version of "I've got a mind to give up living." The Mothers were great as usual and even did the crazy "Go To San francisco" material to the delight of the crowd. What a night.

You can still hear it!! Cropper is still gigging. Saw him in Sydney with Duck Dunn last February and then with The Animals over summer in the UK. Still playing all this great music!!! Awesome...catch them while you can. :-)

This is pure gold. Out of the studio and in the Winterland. Great dynamics, and showmanship with NO fade-outs! Thanks Wolfie!!!
