Opening with a funky and fun version of the Coasters classic, "Youngblood" (also a hit for Leon Russell and Bad Company), Bobby & The Midnites give a memorable performance from New Jersey's Capitol Theater, one of several shows recorded for the King Biscuit Flower Hour.

"Bombs Away," "Salt Lake City," "Heaven Help The Fool," "Josephine," and "Too Many Losers," all sung by Weir, shine, as does the opening jam song, "Bahama Mama" written by bassist Johnson.     THIS BAND IS O.K. BUT I AM A KINGFISH FAN.I KNOW IT WOULD BE TOUGH TO SEE KINGFISH SINCE ROBBIE HODDINNOT IS DEAD,AND THE MIDNITES ARE REAL GOOD IT IS A DRAG THAT BOBBY COCHRAN ACTS LIKE MR. SHOW BIZ.I WILL SAY THE MIDNITES ARE 5000 TIMES BETTER THAN FREAKING RATDOG.RATDOG IS WWAAAAAYYYY LAME.

    Great quality recording.I saw them at Keystone Berkley and they just tore it up.I was also a huge Kingfish fan.Robbie was phenominal.I think Bobby was singing great in this period.This band had a great tight sound going IMO,great back up vocals ect.

    Hey Chris, WTF.... to hear DEAD, you go to Dead show, to hear Bobby's other stuff, you go to a show like this, duh.... This show rocks end to end, been the the Capitol many times thanks to Kenny Viola, Chris Cook, and Flipper... breaks up in the projection booth :-)

    The show contains some great stuff,but if I had gone I would've liked to have heard some DEAD material. I'm sure there were many who felt that way as well. Great band!
