Saw this tour in Atlanta. The set was different with an incredible version of "Veteran ...." I've seen them about 12-15 times over the years and have NEVER seen a weak show, even the Chattanooga Tn. show around 1998 where they were relegated to a small side stage during the daylight hours (Johnny fucking Rivers got the main stage!)

Well, I've seen BOC at least 25 times live, starting around 1971. Actually saw them in NYC on New Years Eve with Kiss (first Kiss show ever I believe). Anyone who has seen them live knows what a great rock band they are. Buck is one of the best ever.

I saw them in Indy at Ribfest during Labor Day weekend '08. They aren't nearly as frightening in the daylight.

Man, back in the 70's I had a friend who adored this band. Whenever I visited him he only played their music on his stereo. The music always put me in a "differentb" place. AKA, it put me in his smoke-filled high state and I didn't enjoy it at all. The music literally fucked me up. But I revisited it years later and it works for me now. Now I see what he enjoyed about it all. But I suppose this business major friend of mine is probably no longer listening to this music, while I am enjoying the shit out of it. I was behind the times, I guess. Don't fear the Reefer! I did then. Not now. I know, the song was don't fear the reaper, but I felt the reefer in it then.
