The first two releases, Sarah Vaughan and Diz as well as Bill Evans, bring to mind utter delight and abysmal sadness. Happiness for the memory of Sass and Diz exuding so much fun, sadness for the passing of Bill Evans so prematurely, in his prime, just five years later.
