Forty Years After Four Died In Ohio

TDC Final

We all know the story — on May 4th, 1970, National Guardsmen on the campus of Kent State University fired into a crowd of protesters killing four and wounding nine; two of those killed weren’t participating in the protests. Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young quickly wrote “Ohio” and it was being played on the radio within three weeks of the shootings. The event has come to partly define a pivotal time in American socio-political history and the music commemorating the times is appropriately powerful.
