Bad Religion

Rising from the Southern California punk scene in the early 1980s, Bad Religion avoided sounding like any other band of the genre. With gritty vocals and energy-spewing guitars, Bad Religion is one of punk's longest running bands, turning out infectious tunes for a long line of loyal fans. From the early How Could Hell Be Any Worse to their first major-label record, 1993's Recipe for Hate, Bad Religion has kept the recipe simple, fusing complex lyrics with a stable punk rock vision. Releasing over a dozen albums since their debut in '82, Bad Religion has conquered punk rock with a consistent sound that never lacks new material. In July of 2007, they released a new album titled, New Maps of Hell.
