This incomplete performance by Art Garfunkel was recorded at London's legendary Royal Albert Hall during what had become one his estrangements from Paul Simon. Even when they couldn't be in the same room with each other, Garfunkel continued to sing Simon's songs; and though Simon wrote all…entire summary

Does it get any better than Art Garfunkel singing "Bridge Over Troubled Water"? I really doubt it.

I have just had the privilege of hearing Art singing this song accompanied by Paul Simon at the first Melbourne Concert on 25th June 2009. If anything his voice has mellowed and is even more beautiful than during this concert 21 years ago!

I've never seen Art Garfunkel solo, but saw 2 "reunion" S&G concerts. The first one was in 1980 or '81 in Rotterdam, in the soccer stadium (Feyenoord), and I have never seen one person's voice silence 60,000 people like that night. When Art Garfunkel went into the last verse of Bridge Over Troubled Water, standing still in front of the microphone with his hands behind his back, he put an image in my mind that remains amongst the top 5 concert moments in my life, and I have seen hundreds. To this day I can relive that moment. Simon and Garfunkel would not have been what they were without him.
