As a founding member of Traffic, Mason's vocals and guitar skills helped blast the band to stardom in the late 1960s. A well documented rift between Mason and bandmate Steve Winwood lead to Traffic's breakup in '69. After Traffic, Mason went on to pursue a myriad of gigs which included stints in other bands and reunion work with Traffic.
