Nurtured along the way by original members John 'Ozzy' Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Bill Ward, and 'Geezer' Butler, the British group gained quick popularity on both sides of the Atlantic and weathered a revolving door of artists including several ins-and-outs by Ozzy and Geezer.
