Concert Summary

Though they're rarely given credit for it, America was one of the earliest groups to explore the possibilities of unplugged rock 'n' roll. While bands like Black Sabbath and Humble Pie were rockin' auditoriums at ear splitting volumes, America was showing fans that acoustic rock indeed had a place in the contemporary music scene. Few groups can lay claim to a success as lasting as the one America has enjoyed since charting their first hit, "A Horse With No Name," in 1971.…entire summary

One of the best live performances I have heard. Well done from start to finish.

One of the best concerts I've heard - Dewey's and Gerry's vocals were especially good and the arrangements were tight and musical. The entire band was at its best - altogether, it doesn't get any better!

I saw them as a trio early in their careers @ the Academy of Music/Phila. Rugs,Plants and Harmonies just blew away the audience who almost knew every word by then. This set brings back those days..did they ever get Dan Peek to record with them again, even a Christian song? I can't believe Dan does not still play or sing in his new found environment. Thanks for the great set of songs.

America is California, En vivo ellos demuestran la fuerza el vigor, el movimiento hippie de los 60's 70's. America es hoy por hoy el Icono de la Musica de peace & love. America en vivo es 100% soft rock Raul

As much as I like their studio recordings, America became one of my favorite bands because of their live performances.
