I saw Jarreau at Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC)in the 80's and man, what a range of vocal control! I've got his '65 LP when he was doing his Masters in Music.

I've always been a fan of the great man! His unique take on jazz & soul is very refreshing. He adds colour & body to what can sometimes be a dull & predictable music genre.

I agree!! I saw him in Seaside, Florida a few years back and he was as wonderful as ever. A very special soul.

Al Jarreau is simply amazing everyone. Bobby McFerrin learnt much off this guy. An amazing concert.
